In some games, the cards are referred to as “hole cards.” Once the game is underway, a player will place their bets in the pot. If they are able to win the pot, they will receive the whole pot.

The game of poker is played with at least one player and a large round table. The optimal number is six to eight players. The pot is the sum of the bets made by all players in a single deal. A player can win the pot by having the best hand or making a bet that no other player calls.
